Body Treatments

Lymphatic

PRE CARE

Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your
appointment. Please consume at least 1.5 L of water prior to your treatment to
ensure your body is well hydrated.

Avoid alcohol for 24–72 hours prior to your appointment
where possible, as it can contribute to dehydration and slow the body’s natural
processing after treatment.

Have a light, nourishing meal beforehand rather than heavy
or highly processed foods.

Please disclose any relevant medical information, including
recent procedures, injuries, medications, or changes to your health, so your
therapist can tailor your treatment safely and effectively.

Lymphatic drainage massage is generally contraindicated
during pregnancy. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive,
please inform your therapist prior to treatment.

Wear loose, comfortable clothing and remove jewellery where
possible.

POST CARE

Continue to prioritise hydration following your treatment,
aiming for approximately 1.5–2 litres of water daily unless otherwise advised
by your therapist.

Your lymphatic system will continue processing for 24–48
hours following treatment. You may notice temporary effects such as mild
fatigue, increased urination, slight light-headedness, or a gentle detox-like
feeling. These are typically short-lived.

Gentle movement such as walking, stretching, yoga, or light
mobility exercises is encouraged. Avoid intense physical exertion for 24 hours
unless directed otherwise by your therapist.

Keep skincare simple and calming if sensitivity occurs.
Avoid excessive heat, hot showers, or strong exfoliation for 1–2 days.

Only wear compression garments if prescribed by a medical
professional. Otherwise, wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows the body
to move and circulate freely.

Prioritise rest and quality sleep to allow your body to
recover following your treatment.

WHEN TO SEEK ADVICE

Please contact your therapist or a qualified medical
professional if you experience persistent or worsening fatigue, dizziness,
nausea beyond 24–48 hours, severe headaches or flu-like symptoms, unusual
swelling, pain or bruising, or any symptom that feels abnormal or concerning.

This information is for general guidance only and does not
replace medical advice.

Remedial/Deep tissue

PRE CARE

Ensure you are adequately hydrated before your appointment.

Avoid eating a heavy meal immediately before your treatment.
A light meal or snack is recommended if needed.

Please inform your therapist of any relevant medical
conditions, injuries, recent procedures, medications, or changes to your health
prior to treatment.

POST CARE

Drink water following your treatment to maintain hydration.

Mild muscle soreness, tenderness, or stiffness can occur
following remedial or deep tissue massage. This is generally temporary and may
last up to 48 hours.

Gentle movement such as walking, stretching, or light
mobility is encouraged following treatment. Avoid strenuous or high-impact
exercise for at least 24 hours, or until any significant soreness has settled.

Warm baths, showers, or heat packs may help relieve muscle
tension and stiffness. Cold compresses may be used for areas of tenderness or
bruising. Limit heat or cold application to 15–20 minutes at a time.

Allow your body time to recover following treatment and
prioritise rest where possible.

WHEN TO SEEK ADVICE

If you experience severe or worsening pain, significant
swelling or bruising, or symptoms that persist or do not improve, contact your
therapist or seek appropriate medical advice.

This information is provided as general guidance and does
not replace medical advice.
