Teenage acne is incredibly common and almost always linked to the hormonal changes of puberty, which increase oil production in the skin. While it's normal, that doesn't mean it has to be left untreated or managed with over the counter products that don't actually address the cause.

Here's what we recommend:

Is it safe for teens?

Yes. We tailor every treatment plan to your teen's age, skin sensitivity, and specific concerns. Nothing is one size fits all, and we always start conservatively before progressing to anything more intensive.

If you're noticing your teen struggling with breakouts, the earlier we can assess their skin, the more we can do to prevent longer term scarring or pigmentation. We're always happy to have a chat first if you're unsure where to start.

Our treatments can all be made pregnancy safe with the exception of more advanced therapy such as skin needling.

There are a few products you need to avoid when pregnant so please advise your therapist of your pregnancy and we can accomodate you.

2 hour street parking is available out the front of our building. For longer treatments we recommend parking on the opposite side of the street (in front of the railway station) for all day free parking.

Unfortunately no, you will need to use your voucher in person or over the phone with us.

Welcome: You'll be greeted by our beautiful front house team who will then ensure you have filled out all appropriate intake forms.

Consult: At Urvo Skin we perform consultations to ensure we understand your goals and can customise our treatment plan to your needs. We've allowed extra time in our first time session together so that we can get to know you better and make sure your experience with us has the outcome you deserve. Our front house team will prep you for consult either with an observ skin analysis (skin treatments only) ready for your skin expert to assess the results before seeing you.

*Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for this pre-treatment experience.

For your health and safety, a consult is required.

We must assess your skin and learn any possible contraindications such as allergies or other medicines before we can treat you with advanced treatments and products we use.

We also consult with body work because we need to know what previous injuries you've had or any long term conditions that may affect how we approach the treatment such as scoliosis, lymphedema etc.
